About Matt Ingrams
Matt Ingrams, the
creator of theforgivenessworks , is a husband, father, facilitator and trainer dedicated to living truthfully and enabling others to do the same.
Matt has over 20 years of experience
in the fields of personal development and care,
including counselling training and practice, residential
social work with young people in care,
mentoring, and developing trainings for those
dealing with trauma and the effects of P.T.S.D.
Throughout all these activities Matt has faced his own
'demons'; overcoming, or rather letting go
of, alcohol addiction and clinical depression
through committment to the love at the core of
everything, including himself!
Living truthfully is all about
reconnecting with this love through honest ownership and
release of whatever is in the way.
theforgivenessworks
is the result of years of dedicated study
into, and experimentation with, the nature of
this process. Everything Matt teaches has been filtered
and discovered through the rigorous testing ground
of his own experience. This has not been a solitary
journey though. Matt is aware that Grace has
danced with him in this creative process, even if he was
often unaware of its presence.
" I love God and am blessed to be doing my
hearts work. I have a deeply personal relationship
with this something, this Love I call God. Through my
'walk' with forgiveness I cannot deny the truth of my
own incredible experiences of receiving and opening to
this unconditional Love. But I cannot describe this
adequately and do not require others to agree with me.
My desire is only to enable others to have their own
experience of the wonder and innocence at the heart of
their humanity, and deliver to them a
key to this place they can use whenever they
choose. .
To me the names and labels we use are
often, in fact usually, blockers to the Flow,
obstructions to connection.
theforgivenessworks is all about
unblocking this flow and liberating us from our often
destructive and painful bondage to belief systems and
dogma. It is also about owning our own truth in
innocence, even while knowing we may be judged or
provoke a strong reaction. In my consciousness I
have released the word God from the associations that
used to weigh me down and provoke rebelliousness in
me.So I am blessed to say 'I love God' That is
my truth that I own in joy .
One last thing, although it is not really
about me.We often think forgiveness is about other
people; Actually it is all about ourselves.
Love and Blessings on your journey."
